2011 School Fete
The Wollongong Public School Parents and Citizens Association is proud to inform the community that the 2011 school fete is being held on the 13th of November between 10am and 3pm on the school grounds. A wide range of attractions, stalls and entertainment will be available for families. A flyer of the event is available.

WPS P&C Secretary Attends NSW Annual Conference
The Wollongong Public School P&C Secretary recently attended the 2011 annual conference of the Federation of Parent and Citizens of NSW in Tamworth. “The conference was well attended with delegates across a wide range of public schools across the state. Workshops were available for delegates to learn new skills and presentations to gain knowledge about issues and programs that affect their local school community”, Timothy stated and remarked, “The debates for the agenda items were quite lively as well!”. Timothy went on to say that the conference was in his opinion very successful and he is looking forward to contributing further to the public education debate in New South Wales.

Wollongong Public School BER New Hall Opening – June 10th 2011
Wollongong Public School officially opened their new BER hall today. In attendance to celebrate the occasion was the local state member of parliament, Ms Sharon Bird, MP, the school education director, Mr Graham Kahabka as well as the P&C Secretary. The school captains put in a splendid effort of MC’ing the occasion. There were many parents and carers on hand to applause the students as they displayed their talents on stage.

Bunnings BBQ – March 13th 2011
Wollongong Public School P&C will be fundraising with a BBQ at Bunnings Wollongong on Sunday March 13th from 9-4pm. We would really appreciate all the support we can get, so please bring family and friends and purchase a sausage sizzle or two!
All monies raised will go towards the P&C’s fundraising objectives. A brochure is available.
